With the average American family owing $21,686 in credit card debt and $161,072 in mortgage debt according to a recent study done by Nerd Wallet and AOL Money & Finance respectively and with unemployment still hovering around 9%, it’s no wonder you’re considering purchasing life insurance.

While life insurance might seem like a luxury purchase that is only necessary for the rich or famous, there are plenty of reasons that people of all financial backgrounds should consider buying it. Here are just a few to get you thinking:

You want to pass on the dream. If you’re someone who wants to pass on your passion, business, or legacy to your family, you might want to consider buying life insurance. Life insurance is one of the easiest ways for you to help ensure that your family doesn’t lose out on any of the work you’ve done over the years. For example, if your family depends on money coming in from your hobby or business—say, real estate—then life insurance can be a great way for them to protect their finances after you are gone.

You have medical debt. Medical debt is one of the biggest reasons that people file for bankruptcy in the United States.

The average bill is over $25,000 and that doesn’t include any follow-up treatments or medications. If you have a lot of medical debt, you might consider looking into getting life insurance because it could help to pay off your medical bills after your death.

You have a family. It goes without saying that life insurance can be a great way to ensure that your family is taken care of if anything were to happen to you. If you die, your children will still have someone to take care of them and help them grow up happy and healthy.

You have outstanding loans. If you’ve taken out any loans for your home or business, it’s likely that you want to ensure that these loans are paid back even after your death. Having life insurance can help you to do this.

While it is true that life insurance can be an important tool for helping people take care of their family members after they are gone, it is also important to note that it is by no means a surefire solution.

How much does it cost to get insurance with Fred Loya?

Presently my family has no insurance–my daughter is 4 years old. What would be your recommendation about the best insurance for us?

I am writing this question to find out if there are any great companies that offer affordable insurances for kids, specifically under the age of 18. I need an example of how much it would cost per month or yearly.

I have heard that Fred Loya is a very good company with affordable prices, but I haven’t yet confirmed if their ages are even open enough for my daughter’s needs. Thank you!

Before you start browsing through online programs, check to see how much they might cost per year and what percentage of your monthly income they would take up. Some companies charge you by the month but take up a percentage of your income.

This makes it especially hard for low-income families to pay for the insurance, plus the monthly premium. Which insurance company has affordable rates?

I’ve just never had to deal with this, so I don’t really know anything about prices. The only program I know is through my school which is free and covers up to $30,000 or something like that.

That’s why I’m looking for suggestions on which program would be best service-wise and price-wise for my family! Thanks!

Is Fred Loya insurance legit?

My parents want me to get disability insurance because they don’t trust Obamacare…

Does anyone have a good insurance plan for a single mom?

I have 3 kids, 14,11, and 8. I’m currently insured through the Affordable Care Act, but my copay is going to be as much as the premium will be in 2016 as well as higher deductibles. I’m downsizing my home and can’t afford any increase.

Does anyone have a good insurance plan for a single mom? Have been looking at the Gold Plus Plan from Fred Loya, but it’s been difficult to get any information on them other than they are not ACA compliant.

What is the best insurance for someone who does all of their own yard work?

So, I’m a bit of a do-it-yourself. I do all of my own yard work, at least when I’m not doing something else. If you can tell me what’s the best insurance for this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

How much would it cost to get insurance for 5 people?

My family is looking into getting health insurance through Fred Loya. We are all under 25 years old and getting married soon (so about 6 months). We are deciding whether to get the one-person plan or 5 person plan.

The one-person plan would cost the most at $850 a month (altogether, with 5 people in the family, that would be $1,635 a month). However, the five-person plan is only $550 a month for all 5 of us together (for everyone to cover their own medical expense). What would be the best choice for us? Thanks in advance!

What’s the best insurance for people like me?

I am 34 years old. I do not have any major problems in my life. I work full time and take care of my baby on my own. I pay it forward by helping my neighbors babysit/care for their kids when they have to go out of town. I feel like I live for this day, to be able to give back by helping others. Then I see your face.

Amazon.com: Does Fred Loya offer health insurance?

I’m trying to find out if Fred Loya offers any insurance plans that include care for people like me (I qualify but there are many who don’t qualify).

If so, what are the details of this policy? Do they have an application process or do you have to ask your employer? Is it available in all states? All information would be greatly appreciated!
